Bali White Water Rafting on the Ayung River: Jungle Rapids & Waterfall Stop
Navigate Bali’s longest river through pristine jungle on this exhilarating white water rafting adventure. The Ayung River cuts through a deep gorge near Ubud, passing under hanging vines, past stone carvings on the cliff walls, and alongside rice terraces visible through gaps in the canopy. Rapids are class II–III — exciting enough for an adrenaline rush but safe for beginners and families with children aged 8 and above.
Each raft carries 4–6 people plus a certified guide who navigates and shares stories about the river’s cultural significance. The 10-kilometer route takes roughly two hours, with several calm stretches where you can float and take in the jungle sounds — birds, cicadas, and the distant roar of the next rapid. Halfway through, pull over at a small waterfall to swim under the cool cascade. After the final rapid, climb out at the finishing point where changing rooms, towels, and a hot buffet lunch await.
Includes: Rafting equipment, certified guide, safety briefing, lunch, towels, changing facilities, hotel pickup/drop-off (Ubud/South Bali).
