Kuta Beach and Seminyak offer gentle rolling waves ideal for first-timers. Surf schools line the beach offering board rental and professional instruction.
Intermediate & Advanced
Uluwatu, Padang Padang, and Balangan offer more challenging reef breaks with longer rides. Best at mid to high tide with smaller crowds in the morning.
Surf Lessons
Professional surf instructors teach safety, paddling, and wave-catching techniques. Most lessons include equipment and last 2–3 hours.
