Uluwatu Sunset Tour: Kecak Dance, Temple & Jimbaran Seafood Dinner
An evening of drama, culture and oceanfront dining awaits on this classic Bali sunset tour. Your driver collects you mid-afternoon and heads to the Bukit Peninsula, home to some of Bali’s most dramatic coastline. First stop: Pura Uluwatu, perched on a sheer cliff 70 metres above the crashing Indian Ocean. Walk the clifftop path past playful monkeys while your guide shares the legends of the temple’s 11th-century origins.
As the sun descends, find your seat at the open-air amphitheatre within the temple grounds. The Kecak Fire Dance begins — a hypnotic performance by dozens of shirtless men chanting in rhythmic interlocking patterns, reenacting the Ramayana epic against a backdrop of the setting sun. No instruments, no dialogue — just fire, voices, and the sound of the ocean below.
The evening ends in Jimbaran Bay, where tables are set directly on the sand under a canopy of stars. A fresh seafood barbecue dinner is served — grilled fish, prawns, squid, and clams with Balinese sambal, steamed rice, and mixed vegetables. Soft lantern light and waves lapping at your feet make this a meal you will not forget.
Termasuk: Private car, English-speaking driver, temple entry, Kecak ticket, seafood dinner, hotel pickup/drop-off.
