First Stop: Padar Island
Put on your hiking shoes! The view from the peaks of Padar Island is the most magnificent sight in Indonesia. Climb to the top for a panoramic view of the incredible natural beauty of Komodo National Park. Don't forget plenty of sunscreens and a hat – it's a hot and sunny adventure to the top.
The hike is a bit challenging, but it's worth it. Count 20 to 30 minutes of ascent. Once you arrive, the view is breathtaking!
Second Stop: Komodo Island
An official UNESCO World Heritage site, Komodo Island is remarkable. Hosting fewer than 2,000 inhabitants and impressively home to 2,500 Komodo dragons, it's the perfect place to reconnect with nature.
Although there's no guarantee of spotting them, there are usually a few Komodo dragons wandering near the buildings close to the entrance, so be ready for a quick selfie with a Komodo.
Third Stop: Pink Beach
The world-renowned Pink Beach is a must-visit for any traveler to Komodo National Park. With its soft pink sand, crystal-clear waves, and incredible diving spots, Pink Beach is a place you must visit.
While still beautiful, this popular spot is not as pink as it once was because people like to take the sand. Please, don't take the sand! Not only will your sand be thrown away when you go through airport security checks, but you'll also leave the beach less pink for future visitors.
Fourth Stop: Manta Point
The best diving and snorkeling sessions in Indonesia are found in places like Manta Point, offering a truly magical experience.
Although you might not see manta rays every time, you'll have the chance to admire a beautiful variety of corals and marine life during this snorkeling session.
Fifth Stop: Taka Makassar
Fall in love with this small white sand islet, which is also a great opportunity for beautiful photos.
Sixth Stop: Kanawa Island
Kanawa Island. This quiet and relaxing small island hides a paradise: turquoise water, white sand, and aquatic richness. Here, you have the choice: snorkeling to explore the extraordinary seabed, lounging on the beach, or swimming in crystal clear water.
